   Okay I don't catch those lyrics anywhere in it either.
   I think a possible second meaning of "23" which is partly obvious is that it's half of 46. (yeah yeah human chromosomes)
   I'm thinking M is using 23 to refer to the half of HIMSELF that came from his Mother.
   
   Also, I believe by itself, Viginti Tres is an audio representation of the drug-deep-mind-explore-journey for truth (I talk about this more detailed in my interps for rosetta stoned and jambi) so "Hear Me Out" ;)
   
   I will for my purposes name the noise "M" for both the human lyricist and the Mind of the human subject.
   
   M starts off silent, and then a gentle sway grows, As if M thinks it has found something. (undertow) The M sways harder, and takes a few tones in a few different directions, and has a few bumps, As if M is looking harder for a way to reach something. (Aenima) then M seemingly finds and KEEPS a direction and begins to smoothly open up and expand and get nice and interesting, then runs smooth (Lateralus)but suddenly it breaks into a demonic scary sound! It got too much for M, M tries to force its way quiet, but the understanding is there already (see my Jambi Interp) and M ends up getting higher pitched and frightened, maybe trying to rediscover innocence?
   
   I think (as I've said before) when MJK's mother was in her final days, and keeping her Faith, MJK saw that her Faith was doing a hell of a lot more for her than his "celebrate-this-chance-to-be-a-spiral-swinging-super-DNA-part-of-the-collective-happy-to-be-alive-human-being" Lateralus Philosophy was doing for him. And His """"" Lateralus Philosophy doesn't really help a person who has endured 27 years of suffer. That's what I believe changed him, and made him realize that his Discoveries into the mind were just drugged clouds. (He must've been High)
   And I'm not anti drug, I did my more than my share of heavy experimentation, and I think I learned from that, but I wouldn't call any of what I learned "truth" now. Or "insight" for that matter. Merely different perspectives. And in the end NONE of them were really necessary for how I live and perceive life now.
   
   That's what I think ALL of 10000 Days is about.
   
   I am ALSO admittedly, a VERY pretentious person. Always have been. And I enjoy being one so I will always continue. (so if you think I'm wrong, I don't care, because I'M the only person that needs to believe I'm a genius)

   Its totally worth listening to at least once with an open mind. You don't have to believe maynard did it or is even aware that people have played the tracks together like this, I think it makes for one hell of a listening experience. Especially if you were like me and was waiting for new tool material, the intro and outro seem reborn almost. The solo and middle is almost unchanged but the rest is amazing

   Anybody who has even spent the time listening to the perfect sync 10000 days track on youtube will have to agree, intentional or not, it is one sweet ass track. Gives me goosebumps. I don't even care if maynard wrote it or if they altered the time signature (even though I don't believe its been altered, people argue part 1 is faster, I've never tried to sync myself) I believe its vastly superior to the original

   Guys, it could be about chromosomes yes, but i think it is about something completely different. I am a latin student myself and i have studied all of Caesars texts.
   And he dies with Viginti tres stabs of multiple knifes. AND he dies on 15 march ( which is during autumn), and because he died this extrordinary way, people remembered him and he got a place in the history books (eternal power).

   I don't think that Viginti Tres is referring to that experiment with 10,000 Days. It's a mess. Wings For Mary is played faster than Part2, this idea is nonsense.
   But if you just take the full-length of this album - 76 minutes - and extract the two interludes (lipan conjouring & viginti tres which are 6-7 minutes together) you get a 69. 69/3=23. 3= 3 faces on the album's cover.

   I have no idea on where theses lyrics came fron but I think the song is about his mother dying and his father molesting him like most of his songs are (in the beginning it sounds like breathing that becomes more and more shallow and weak until it stops and then a evil sound comes from it)

   Your right about the whole synchronization idea.
   The length of the song of Viginti Tres (5:02)
   And the length of the song Wings For Marie (6:13)
   Added up equals to the length of 10,000 Days (11:15)
   
   So making a playlist with the songs Viginti Tres and Wings For Marie in that order WHILE playing 10,000 Days at the SAME (Synchronized) time, they will end at the same time.
   How does Maynard implement all of this into his music? He's a genius and deserves much more credit. People need to open their eyes and read between the lines.

   Viginti Tres is Latin for twenty three, which is the number of synchronicity. This track is designed to synchronize Wings for Marie and 10,000 Days (Wings, Pt. 2). I'd tell you how, but that'd take all the fun out of it.
