#1 top rated interpretation:When she (Samantha) sings in the demonic voice that isn't screamo, she is saying two riddles. The first riddle is in the first verse. The answer is a shadow, think about it. The second riddle is shorter in the second verse. The answer is nothing. Literally nothing. "are they real..." Samantha is the bad demon ghost zombie queen but part of her still thinks that the zombies and stuff are not real. "it's killing me to see I'm killing you..." Samantha hates the survivors and wants to kill them but part of her doesn't, which is why she gives you perks and mystery boxes.

This song has a lot to do with Samantha I believe. The shadow and nothing interpretations are good. Although, people haven't really been looking at the finer details. The lyric "what goes up must never come back down" Is a good example of this. Originally, 'What goes up must come down' means that good things always have an end. Samantha sees her tormenting as good, and she doesn't want it to end. That Samantha is enjoying tormenting the players/characters, and the revenge she is inflicting on Richthofen should be neverending, infinite. She is talking about her achievements while being trapped, and she is also talking about Yuri in a sense. In a way, she's kind of like a virus, hence the zombie apocylypse.

i swear you guys are fuckin blind,the song is dedicated to to the demon that is perfectly described in it,his name's abra kadab and he's a flying demon with a thousand spells under each wing.his little "magical" theme came from when he devoured a full grown man in subsonic speed infront of the audience.of course he did this while masquarading as a normal magician that he possessed earlier.when he devoured that man,all the crowd saw was one man on stage chanting "abracadabra".but the reason you guys were taught the words "abracadabra" when you were little was to subliminaly make you say it without knowing of his existance so that he can latch on you as you get older.dont believe it?look him up along with the encyclepedia of hell,it talks ALL about him in there."i say goodbye at night and morning hi" means hes been latched on to you eversince you said his name.I trust that youll figure out the other riddles haha (:

Well truly ask yourselves this: what can fly, can swim and be dry? It's a daemon, certain mythology states that a daemon (not to be confused with a demon) is a bird like creature made of shadows that is a part of everyone and is the carrier of souls to paradise or prison. (Hell)

The song must be about her (Sam). she doesnt like the killing but its really only fair becuase she was murdered by rictoffen, now she regrets killing the other 3 survivors becuase they didnt do anything and they are tricked into helping Rictoffen into going place to place and killing all the zombies to find his stuff (DG-2 etc)

The first part IS right, but the answer to the second riddle is actually 'Nothing' Dead men have nothing, rich men require nothing, contented men desire nothing, most men fear nothing more than death or mortal strife and most love nothing more than life -
To me, not only is it in Acension,but it was meant for it. In the radios, it says that Dr. Yuri was being talked to and controlled by Samantha. In my own guidebook that I am making I had to research about that event and in my guidebook I put, "Samantha tried to control Yuri by piercing his thoughts and communicating to him mentally insane."

As many have said, the first part in her demon voice is a riddle, and the answer is, "a shadow".
However, Many people have a different interpretation of the second riddle. I believe that the answer is the truth. What do the most powerful people in the world want? Truth. The most full, complete, inalienable truth. What do dead men have? Is there a god? Is there anything after? These are things that only the dead can know. At least, that's my take away.

to the 5th anonymous contented means you are perfectly happy with life just as it is. contented men desire nothing. men don't fear money at all, let alone more than death or mortal strife. dead men don't have money or anything else. rich men don't require money because they're rich and have lots of money.

i think this song is from Dr. Gersh's or Richtofen's POV.
(If you know the storyline of Ascension you know who Dr. Gersh is) I think this because when the line " you want me to be gone " comes on, it could refer to either Dr. Yuri killing Gersh and trapping his soul with Sam through the Gersh Device, OR it could refer to Sam wanting to kill Edward(Richtofen)for revenge. another line saying "you will never know how far I've come" could mean that Dr. Gersh was far in his project and Yuri didn't know how far Gersh had come to finishing the project when he killed him.

The lyrics "are they real and do they feel or is it all just inside my head" could be that since richtofen is crazy, maybe the rest of the survivors have schizophrenia like richtofen has, a disease that u see hallucinations and hear voices, if u listen 2 richofens lines he'll talk bout his mental disease.
