    This song is reminiscent of the loss of Trent's grandmother.

    There are multiple versions, but this (The Fragile) is more about the anger, confusion, and change that it caused.

    The idea of this song being one of mourning was only a myth, based off the lyrics, until fans found a leaked clip of a music video that was never made - Trent at a funeral.

    Trent is drowned in sorrow in this song, as the guitar, high amounts of reverb, and distortion show.
