I think the meaning of the lyrics is obvious. It describes how passionless the couples become through the years. By getting used to the one you love, you start treating them like everybody and the passion ends. P!nk is describing the day she found out this (because it's a slow process and we normally don't realize it) and asked her loved one: "How did we get so mean? How do we just move on?", because they do not care for each other as they used to, and all the love died.
