To me this song is about someone who is alone and can't stand everyone else being in a relationship because no one loves them. So they hate that it feels like everyone is rubbing it in their face. idk what the actual meaning is. That's just what it means to me.

This is a tricky one. I always change my mind. Right now I'm leaning to this: the person who Dan is speaking to is someone not particularly accepting to the idea of love, almost fearing love and commitment "do curse the happy couple, do you cringe at wedding bells?" so they just fool around, showing off they don't need love "stop showing off for the rest of us no one wants to love". However Skiba's verse indicates that not being able to love means they can never truly be happy "You can't escape this fatal case of melancholia"
