Hall of Fame Lyrics

Yeah, You could be the greatest
You can be the best
You can be the king kong banging on your chest

You could beat the world
You could beat the war
You could talk to God, go banging on his door

You can throw your hands up
You can be the...

I don't know if anyone will read this but it's worth a try.
What the song means to me is that, whoever you are you can be anything you set your mind to. If anyone says you can't, take that as a challenge to prove them wrong. Some people think it is impossible to accomplish their dreams. That's only true if they don't try, if they try they will surprise not only themselves but everyone around them.

"Hall of Fame" by The Script Ft. Will.i.Am is a one of a kind as it talks about themes of "never giving up" and "to keep going". It talks about how anyone can reach their goals if they try and to just believe. Drums and piano drive the song and create a sense of feeling that supports singers Danny O'Donoghue and Will.i.am. This songs says that some people cant do things and they will not reach their dream however, this is only true if they don't try, if they try they will surprise not only themselves but everyone around them. The title "Hall of Fame" describes that when you try you can become in the hall of fame. The hall of fame clearly portrays that they will become popular and be well known. The lyrics themselves are exaggerated as seen in paragraph 3 it says "you can move a mountain" which is clearly not literal but is meant to mean that if you try you could. Hyperbole is also shown as exaggeration on these lyrics describe and convey the message of never giving up to the listener. In conclusion, Hall of Fame by the Script and Will.i.am convey messages that are "never giving up" and "to keep going" portrayed using many techniques.

This song has a very strong message of striving to be who and what you want to be. I think, though, the term "hall of fame" is used figuratively. I think it refers to impacting people throughout your life and leaving a legacy. All the jobs listed (teachers, politicians, preachers, leaders, etc) will not necessarily give you fame and fortune, but they are jobs where you have the possibility to positively impact so many people's lives and be remembered even after you die.

The Script- Hall of fame is all about a personal struggle within your own soul. It represents the challenges and the pitfalls which function to bring down those who try, Hall of Fame is a momento to all the people who pushed through their own personal struggle and find their names on the hall of fame. The song represents a connection to people who have what it takes and need guidance and support,it is about overcoming boundaries, moving mountains, "Standing in the Hall of Fame".

I think it's trying to tell you that you've just got to try, no matter how hard it seems, it IS possible that you get there someday - if you never try, how do you know it's impossible?

You can do anything, be anything. It is possible, don't get pumped then give up after 2 days. Take that attitude with you all the way to your own "Hall Of Fame". Prove them all wrong, eat that huge ass hamburger. Adults will tell you that you can be anything you want as a child, even if they don't believe it themselves. When you grow up however, you pass it off as bull because you never even tried. You'll read this and say, "Hey I can do it!" Well you can, but it won't all be you. It'll be you and God.

Dont give up things in middle . Strive for the accomplishment of your dreams . One fine day you will be recognised by the whole world . They will come to know who you are . Just believe in yourself and have trust in you .

Although I do agree that we should do our best in everything this life has to offer, in the end what does it matter if we gain the whole world an yet lose our soul?

I think the hall of fame means:You can achieve almost anything you want but it’s not going to be easy, it never is. You’re going to have to go through some moments of pain. Challenges will sometimes make you question whether or not you really have what it takes. Setbacks can momentarily cause you to stay down but if your dream is important to you, you’ll find the strength to get back up. That’s what being a champion is about. It’s not about raising your arms in victory but about rising up each and every time you fall.
Whatever your dream is, the odds of achieving it are probably against you but that doesn't matter because you’re made to defy the odds. You’re made to make obstacles crumble before you. You’re made to bring pain to pain. When your refusal to quit is greater than any challenge life can throw at you, obtaining your dream will just be a matter of time.

Wow, I have never think about this song like I do today. This song get me so much inspiration. I never gonna give up my dreams. I will always believe on my self. With some work and trust I would work to my dreams come true. I will prove to my self and to my people around me that everything is possible. Nothing and nobody can stop you for doing things you want to do. So if you have a dream, never give it up, someday you and people around you would be surprised!

I am a 16 year old kid in 11th grade, when I was in 2nd grade (A.K.A a 7 year old 9 years ago) I had a brain aneurysm, a seizure, and as a result I had a stroke, I was bullied all throughout middle school because I walk with a bit of a limp, before everything happened, I played ice hockey, now I "can't" play contact sports, well my friend who is on our high-school baseball team chose this song as his walk-up song and introduced it to me, now this song has inspired me to follow my dream and get back on the ice and play ice hockey again competitively!!!! I'm gonna show up all these people who doubted me and said I'd never skate again... Which I've already done, I was told I'd never be able to walk again... Doing that, I was told I'd never be able to skate again... I've done that, so I'm really beginning to doubt my doctors who said I'd never play hockey again... I'm determined... Idc what I've got to do. I'm gonna use this song to inspire me to push to reach my goal!!!!!!

I think that this song is about how you can do anything you set your mind to, as long as you strive to accomplish it. You cannot let anyone stand in your way and don't doubt yourself for a single second, because dreams do come true.
