   I support Anonymous' 'little girl vampire' interpretation. Note that this song was used for the Ravnos clan of vampires entry on an album of songs for "Vampire: The Masquerade". Ravnos are vampires who roam the world using trickery, deception, and illusion as their primary methods for both hunting and effecting change in the world. The girl might 'just' be hunting the man for his blood or the Ravnos vampires might be creating a more elaborate deception to get him to change his behavior.

   It's about a little girl vampire. The first stanza is about her coldness and hunger (for blood) and her eyes are delicate, unlike her (fanged) smile. "come closer, look deeply in her eyes" she's luring prey.
   
   the second stanza is about the prey's reaction.
   
   "yet you remain" as in, you're still lingering in life. she says "pray for daylight, pray for morning, pray for an end to our deception" as in, when morning comes we vampires will have to leave you and you'll be free.
   
   if you've seen the music video it's really clear when the old guy she's been following offers her money and she hungrily grabs his arm and pulls him violently.

   ok, so I think this one is about a child who is homeless.
   She Cries, children often do, when they're cold and hungry too-I think this could be describing the pain she is going through struggling through life the way she has to in order to survive.
   Life Clinging backwards to the fall of dread confusion, still this silence gnaws upon your finger tips cold yeilding breath- she used to have a happy life, and she is confused about how she got into her situation, the silence gnaws upon you rfinger tips, this could mean that she is thinking about her situation to much, and worrying about how she'll survive and its making her anxious, and what do alot of people do when they're anxious?tap ur fingers on a desk? chew your finger nails? Cold yeilding breath, I guess this could mean that she is getting so cold that she is going through Hyperventalation...
   And she says pray for daylight, pray for moprning, praying for an end to all our deception-With morning and daylight, there comes warmth and for some people a content feeling.praying for and end to all our deception...she is hoping that she'll be able to pick her life back up.
