This song is one of my favorites by Red. I personally believe, being a Christ follower, that every one of Red's songs is religious. This song is about a person seeking out God, but then turning away from Him, but God is willing to patiently wait until the person reaches their breaking point in life. When the person finally gives up and stops believing, God breaks the boundaries of sin and reveals Himself to them.
