L'America was a recurring term in Jim's poetry. It takes listener's on a bit more of an experimental journey. Jim's Lyrics are thought provoking. The song was originally written to be part of the soundtrack to Michaelangelo Antonionis 1970 anarchists counterculture movie Zabriskie Point.

I dont have an extremely detailed interpretation, but i think it has something to do with his native american past (if that makes sense) and perhaps he is speaking through a native American. Honestly who knows really but him, his lyrics for the most part are just riddles for things that make sense to him lol
