This song is about Tom finding his wife. Its about how him and his wofe going thorugh hard times, and how he found true love through her. The lyircs "oh please, stay awhile, God i love your smile." are how he had almnost lost her, he didnt want her to leave "God i love your smile" meaning that he loves all that she has to offer him.
