My Everything Lyrics

I cried enough tears
To see my own reflection in them
And then it was clear
I can’t deny, I really miss him

To think that I was wrong
I guess you don’t know what you got 'til it’s gone
Pain is just a consequence of love
I’m saying sorry...

This song is not about a partner or someone she is romantically attracted to
This song is about her grandfather who passed away and she never knew how much she loved him and how much he meant to her before he was gone and chat she cried so many tears because she missed him so much too much that you can't even explain it with words and it is really true you don't know what you have tell it's gone. Her grandfather was her everything

This song is about Ariana's grandad passing away. She wrote this song to try lift some weight off her shoulders and express how she really feels. The main meaning behind this song is that you don't know something or someone is your everything until they're nothing.

It’s about her grandfather who passed away and she sings about how much she misses him not knowing how much she loved him while he was alive. She cried so many tears to see her own reflection in them. Ariana refers to her grandfather as ‘My Everything’.

This song was about her grandpa, dead, and how she missed him so much. She shows her love and affection for him by saying how much pain she has for her deceased grandfather. She interprets him as My Everything as if he has been there her whole life.

I can relate to this:she broke up with him and she misses him now and she didn't realize how much she needed him and how much he meant to her until he was gone and couldn't get him back (you don't know what you've got until it's gone).

She broke his heart. Once she broke up with him she realized that she really truly loves him and wants him back. She is expressing how he is her everything and how empty she now is with him. She knows she cant fix things so she is just crying out to him hoping he will here her out. She is ashamed of herself and wishes she wouldn't have let go. This song speaks to me so much because I am that girl who wants this guy back and realized he is my everything.

He's her everything. They broke up and she can't seem to get over it. "I guess you don't know what you got til it's gone."
"Pain is just a consequence of love. I'm saying sorry for the sake of us." She really wants him and only him.
