    I heard that 27 and 57 were the numbers of the buses he got to and from his girlfriend's house.

    His mother died in between Vertigo of Bliss and Infinity Land, think 57 was the bus he got, obvious link to 27, 27 is his sorrow while 57 is him getting over it
