   I think this song is about escaping the 'norm' of life you know? Like, running away from what everyone thinks you are or wants you to be, so that you can just do what you want or need to find who you are and who you wanna be. *And it doesn't hurt to take a friend/group or friends along for the ride either*

   It sounds to me as though this song is about the night of graduation, and how it is their final opportunity to have a good, carefree time just hanging out before they enter the real world. This is interesting because the graduation theme at my school for this year is "The Gr8 Escape."
