Bread: If Meaning

Song Released: 1971

If Lyrics

If a picture paints a thousand words,
Then why can't I paint you?
The words will never show the you I've come to know.
If a face could launch a thousand ships,
Then where am I to go?
There's no one home but you,
You're all that's left me...

Human beings has a unique personality liken that the pictures represents the different emotions that we can seen and understand because of the output appearance that we can seen to the people and especially women.

chorus speaks about unconditional love, companionship, support and encouragement that serves as an inspiration that she's just there when you need her. you have somebody that you can hold on if everything is uncertain. just like if you are facing so many problems, trials and sufferings in life. eventhough there are so many changes in the world but still both of you will be together.

it's like you're sailing in a ship, lots of tremors waves and tribulent in the ocean, but if you have each other, your still keep on moving in the same direction.
