You've Seen the Butcher Lyrics
anonymous Apr 1st, 2013 4:25pm report
This song is about a serial killer/rapist. he would kidnapp girls and rape them and after he was done with them he would butcher them into pieces to dispose of their bodys. if you believe its about something else, you are wrong.

I think this song is about sex or exploring sexual fantasies with one another in an intimate relationship.
"Don't wanna take it slow,
I wanna take you home,
And watch the world explode,
From underneath your glow."
This could mean that he has met someone that he is attracted to. He wants to take them with him to his house and participate in sex. Watching the world explode could mean bringing this person to an orgasm.
"I wanna watch your world,
Creep across my sky."
Again, possible reference to intercourse.
"You slowly enter, because you know my room.
And then you crawl your knees off, before you shake my tomb."
Slowly entering a room in a seductive way, knowing where this person's belongings are and where the bed is. Crawling to him before she shakes his tomb, or bed.
"I wanna watch you close,
I need to see for sure,
And when the tape is on,
Who do you think we could show?"
Referring to watching the look on this person's face as he attempts to please, making absolute sure he's doing what she likes. Turning the tape on, to possibly add on to the thrill of having it with this person, or maybe having a keepsake of this person if she is to disappear.
That's all I've got.

A theory I have about this song is that it could be about plastic surgery, using the metaphor of a one night stand, hence You've Seen The Butcher. The lyrics back this up scantly with phrases like "I wanna watch the way you creep across my skull," IE, with a scalpel, and "You slowly enter 'cause you know my room, and then you crawl your knees off before you shake my tomb." The surgeon knows what he's doing - he knows her face/room. "Shake my tomb" could talking about how the surgeon is changing his face.
All in all, this theory doesn't have enough backing it up to be definitive, but it's one way to interpret the lyrics..
