This song is about the inner part that is in us all the part that always wants to have a conflict.

i think that david is talking about getting rid of that part of himself

the song ain't about him in a conflict with another but with himself

It's a song by an Animal lover !
We Love some - devour others. Hunt for prize.
    The enemy is Human.

It's an ironic song; David Draiman had said that it discourages looking for an enemy to fight against from the view of someone who does.

I agree with Hamrick. The lyrics seem to use this term 'enemy' throughout this song. In fact i think David uses i think its 52 times. The song shows a conflict between two sides like muslims and jews having this hate between each other.

If you know the artist as a man then you would realize that he is a Jewish scholar and has family in Israel. He is referring to the " conflict " between the Muslims and Jews. Though I think maybe it's a sub conscious outward expression of the environment he was raised in as most children are taught to hate the other side from birth. So maybe he has an inner struggle with an outward conflict. And yes when he says wanting love life and all you do is kill life he is referring to the Jews loving life and the Hizbollah killing life. And the reference all around enemy well it's obvious to see that Israel is surrounded by enemies. So that's my interpretation.

Honestly, I believe that it demonstrates the insane obsession with defeating your enemy, and so discourages the listener to find someone to fight against, because this desire to win will possess you completely.

i honestly think that enemy is about draiman or another person that wants to be a good person, but has an inner urge to be a horrible peron hence in the song when he sings "wanting love life, needing kill life". And, in the song draiman talks about wanting to kill it or get rid of the thing that's trying or making him to bad things that's probably why he says "I must eliminate my enemy".

It's about a guy who has an "enemy inside of himself. that enemy is him. this is probably a terrible interpritation.

I think this is about a Conflict with his enemy, and that both sides have enemies.

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
