   I would guess that its relates to how people feel so tired of pushing themselves to the fullest because their family doesn't understand their pain (hence the "I watched my momma cry, she says "baby why?", I say "baby died". Baby's gone, like a suicide. I don't think you'll see him soon, mom. Stay out my room, mom. Tell daddy that I hate that motherfucker like you, mom") They keep telling you "keep pushing yourself, you'll get to the top soon," but they don't know anything at all about what you've suffered, or that you've nearly lost everything to get there and you just wanna give up. So you stoop so low as to drinking and getting lit up.

   I don't believe it is necessarily being in the slumps all cuz a girl dumped you. I think this song is about going through so much in life (mostly related to family, as some of the lyrics suggest) and then just tired of being strong. Being in too many difficult spots...been through way to much bullshit. You've gained so many different emotions along the way. You just wanna die...Just wanna rot away, lay in bed, drink....Being dead inside. And then the chorus suggests wanting to get back up again.

   For me this song is talking about how you can suffer when no-one understands you, and no-one understands this ! You just don't care about you anymore in the end, just like nobody cares about you, you don't shave, stay in your bed without knowing if you're alive or dead.

   Well I think what J3T is trying to get a cross in this son is what it's like to not be loved by anyone. No one loves you so you "Can't think of a reason to get the f**k out of bed. Am I alive or dead?". Like mo one cares about you and no one loves you,

   Deuce and J3T composed the songs together. They had an interview in which they discussed the meaning about "The Diary". To Deuce, it was about his first love and to J3T, it was about his conflicts with alcohol and family life.

   Basically, I think j3t is talking about the constant problems he is always going through and how difficult is for him to deal with them, and how sad he gets because of these never ending ciclye of doing shit, being a screw up, and not being able to fix it, and get depressed because of that. And it being the cause of all the trouble he goes through, like alchool and drugs and family issues

   He has so many problems with his life. He doesnt want to move on and get more hurt. He wishes to go back to the start, start over. He's at the last of it and then he loses his love and breaks. He gets all his feelings out. He wishes he wasnt there. He doesnt want to deal with any of this. He is bla,ming everything on himself. He is begging for her not to leave. His family doesn't nunderstand anything he is going through. He is struggling and doesn't need advice. He needs someone to talk to. He is also talking about how he made mistakes and his acholic problem. He is suicidal. I love this ong :)

    To me this song is about going through so much, pushing yourself so far that you feel like your at your peak, then you lose something that makes you fall, and after you falls. Getting back up to the top is just to hard of a climb.
