Cause your shine is somethin' like a mirror
And I can't help but notice
You reflect in this heart of mine
If you ever feel alone and
The glare makes me hard to find
Just know that I'm always

I think this song is about when they were in love when they were young and they grew old together but one died and the women was remembering the past when they were young and how their lives were. This song is basically trying to say whenever you miss me I'm like right on the other side cause you are my other half and I'm incomplete without you

Towards the end of the video the elderly woman drops the ring, which then transitions into Timberlake catching it, and singing while dancing through and around the earlier-referenced funhouse mirrors, along with backup dancers.

Maybe Justin wrote the song expressing how he saw his grandparents relationship with each other. Similar to how a successful relationship would work, that the first phase is wonderful and carefree, then the next phase is often difficult, but by the last phase you realise some things you didn't see before. And also that when you're with someone a really long time, you know each other so well that "its like your my mirror"!! And I think the ring dropping from the old woman's hand into Justin's hand, and Justin dancing thru the "fun time" of the elderly couples relationship is like Justin's saying that's where his relationship is at, and now its his turn to follow his grandparent's example for the long-run."

The music video was directed by Floria Sigismondi and saw its world premiere as the highlight of an hour-long special on The CW in celebration of The 20/20 Experience's release Timberlake dedicated the music video to his grandparents William and Sadie. It features montages of three separate time periods of a couple's life, from their initial introduction and whimsically falling in love on a funhouse date, to the difficult start of their marriage with a pregnancy, to when they have grown old together and are packing up their belongings. Towards the end of the video the elderly woman drops the ring, which then transitions into Timberlake catching it, and singing while dancing through and around the earlier-referenced funhouse mirrors, along with backup dancers.
