Lonely Wind Lyrics
-
The song clearly is about Jesus Christ and is written from the point of view of probably Peter (one of His disciples) because he speaks of having to leave Him soon to make room for the loney tomorrow--the day of Christ's Crucifiction. All of His disciples left His side out of fear and doubt which was necessary because Christ had to face His death alone. Christ freely surrendered Himself to this destiny to give us a new chance at life--to be born again!
