This Is Me Lyrics

I am not a stranger to the dark
Hide away, they say
'Cause we don't want your broken parts
I've learned to be ashamed of all my scars
Run away, they say
No one'll love you as you are
But I won't let them break me down to dust
I know that...

I want to make this song into a chapter of my life because it had some fun pop and teeny pop and so it sounded like a pumping song but me and Joshua are doing songwriting together, and then when I started this film and I was the best songwriter I cared about. But Joshua is really good with songwriting and I asked him if he can write a song for me. Then he can wrote a song for me, then we can both meet at Tennessee stadium and perform it at the football field, it’s so cool to perform at football venues.

Every time I play this song I'm pumped up to be the whole me, not just the parts of me that people find "acceptable",I find that it's valuing yourself so much that sarcasm, not even praise from other people, can make/break you. It's a beautiful song about self love. I especially love the part where she says " look out, here I come!",so as to say, expect the unexpected, I'm not playing by your rules anymore! I'm gonna be alien!

Ignore negative comments and be who you are. It is a matter of accepting, believing and loving yourself first. Their words are nothing but an ash that need to be ignore.
Always stay who you are and never let others put you down.

The marginalized people who experience unequeal treatment just because of the physical appearance but this song gives hope that you don't have to be ashame for you are. If you feel people don't like you because of your appearance believe me, there's someone appreciate you that there's something spectacular in you that makes people admire you. This song teach us to accept ourselves, embrace and love ourselves despite the flaws and imperfections.

The phrase I am not a stranger to the dark means that you are familiar with people judging you.The phrase I won't let them break me down to dust mean that I won’t let them embarrass me anymore also the phrase when the sharpest words wanna cut me down I'm gonna send a flood, gonna drown them out means that when people try to judge you’ll just ignore them. t

I think this song has more fun and pop song because Ben and I are going to practice our song for our concert next month. But me and him needed to be ready for prepared for traveling a lot of places to write with then we can do some more fun pop songs, and then we can used some backup for the girls, and so I asked margarita Ryan and chase Hudson, and grace Hinson. Then I would go in the backstage and get in my outfit to sing it’s a sparkly and glittery dress it’s like Hannah Montana, but Ben is wearing different suits he’s wearing for his meetings and track too. But my hair needs to straighten up but chase is doing my hair and then grace is helping me with my makeup, so I have two special ladies, to help me.

I think this song is just accepting yourself for the way you are cause people may judge but the only person who matters is you and no insult should ever put you down instead you stand high and be who you were meant to be the beautiful amazing person you were meant to be and that's the most powerful that this song represents and its just amazing its just really about self empowerment and confidence

It's important to know that the original Barnum circus, as depicted in the film, is a far cry from modern-day circuses, with clowns and pyrotechnics and trapeze artists. They were called "freak shows" because they showcased people that the larger society saw as, well, "freaks". In the film, Barnum is positioned as a white savior, the man who comes in and gives this black woman with a beard and dwarf in a Napoleon uniform their chance to be seen. Whether you think P.T. Barnum as opportunist or genius is the key to whether or not you'll be able to stomach this musical.
