I think this sing is about a person with amnesia in a relationship with another person, not being able to remember any details about their relationship, not being able to remember details about their relationship. It’s also just dealing with it in general, like when they said “the doctor said I have tomato loss” mixing up and overlapping details and thoughts with each other on accident.
At the end of the song, the main character can’t remember walking into the hospital for surgery, and then she wakes up from the operation being able to understand things she couldn’t before, but having to build relationships with the same people again after forgetting them
