Fifth Ave. is lined with colleges, like Pitt, CMU, and Chatham. Colleges have reputations for being party areas, so he's probably talking about going to a party at one of the colleges, probably at one of the apartments.

Never even heard this song. Nor have I seen the video. But from your description of "old people, doing young people stuff" He may be trying discreetly imply people do the same shit over and over and dont change.

Fifth Ave is the main road through the University of Pittsburgh as well as going through Carlow university and CMU in a short stretch, which makes it a party area for lots of college students

Well as you see in the video mac miller and his crew dressed as old people in good fashion from joy ridding to spray painting and hitting the club so therefore I think it means love life at a young age.
