He wants her to notice him and be with him but instead he's alone with only some coffee and cigarettes, because "Friday nights are always the same in this town." -
He's singing about how he loves coffee and cigarettes and he's saying he wants to share the joy he gets from it with a girl. He doesn't like the Friday night parties and prefers his singing and doing things with the girl, instead of going out with friends to meet more people and drink.
