Come Away With Me Lyrics

Come away with me in the night
Come away with me
And I will write you a song

Come away with me on a bus
Come away where they cant tempt us
With their lies

I want to walk with you
On a cloudy day
In fields where the yellow grass...

It's a beautiful song about two people that are in love but can't be together. One of them is either married or attached to someone else. N.J. Says: come away with me in the night, meaning when no one can see u, escape with me forever. Then it says; I want to walk with you on a cloudy day, In fields where the yellow grass grows knee-high, meaning just us where no one else exist. It's so intense, it always makes me think of that special someone that I love I can't be with. I wish I could escape but it's not that simple. At the end N.J. Says, So ALL I ask is for you to come away with me... all she needs in her life is to be with him, just the two of them always, forever, nothing else. OMG it's so romantic. I hope it means the same to you.

This song makes me think of my Dad who killed himself when I was 8 years old.
All my life i've wanted to see him again. These lyrics and melody capture my heart....yearning to run away with just him, no one around, to be cuddled, feel his warmness and love. Hug him to say i forgive and understand (although i don't)kiss his neck and hand. So much want to run away with him....

We played this so gat our wedding!! It’s intense yet romantic! It’s about her wanting her love to come way with her. It’s them against the world. All she needs is for him to come away with her, nothing and no one else matters... only the two of them!

This was the song I played at our wedding
    It means so much
It just says-don’t worry about all the other sh*t in your life - just come away with me and we will deal with it together because we are strong .
Forget the rubbish from your past and start a life with me .
We did and we are happy

I think that this is a update of the Song of Solomon.

"My beloved speaks to me and says
Arise my love, my fair one, and come away..."

Its about someone who wants to be with a someone who is "taken". They both love each other but for some circumstance they cannot. THEY BOTH LIVE EACH OTHER but there's someone in between. No matter the circumstance to love each other is what they want

It's about a woman who wants the person she loves to come away with her. She want's to escape with him and forever be with him. I do think that the lyrics are pretty obvious but I hope that it has helped you
