Papa Roach: Between Angels & Insects Meaning
Between Angels & Insects Lyrics
I don't need that shit, take my money, take my obsession
I just wanna be heard, loud and clear are my words, comin’ from within man
Tell ‘em what you heard, it's about a revolution

Its almost entirely about consumerism and the 'modern cancer' of urban life. Half of the lyrics are almost direct quotes from the novel 'Fight Club' by Chuck Phalanuick, read that (or watch the awesome film version) and you'll understand.

To me the song is about how low and shallow people can be that we are only as deep as our possesions are expensive, and how we judge ourselves and others by what george w. can buy us. This country is in a resecion and now especially it can be connected with our world. We have no money but yet we go out and get whatever we want. were like pesants trying to live like kings.

this Song to me is about how this world is so hooked on what you can buy and what you have, that weve failed to relize "Hello, there is no money" its talking about how hes not an idiot and instead of going out and buying junk and living high on the hog that you dont have, hes saying take it all because nothing really is yours anyway.

I think it's about living on the street because he's saying he doesn't need anything to life...
