Silent Lucidity Lyrics

Hush now don't you cry
Wipe away the teardrop from your eye
You're lying safe in bed
It was all a bad dream spinning in your head
Your mind tricked you to feel the pain
Of someone close to you leaving the game of life
So here it is another...

My daughter Morganne passed away suddenly. I believe this is her song to me, comforting me through life and helping me deal with the loss of her.

I believe she is my Guardian Angel telling me that she is with me always, watching over me, helping me through life. I miss and love her so much.

    Morganne, daddy loves you.

My interpretation of the song is its about a childs parent who has passed and the child is having a bad dream because of missing that parent. But they are assuring them that all is ok and they will be watching over them like a guardian angel to keep them safe. This song is deep and very beautiful.

Let's start with the title: when someone is lucid, it means he speaks very clearly. "Silent Lucidty," then, is the art of saying a lot, very clearly, without ever speaking a word.

When a little child has just woken up after having a bad dream, a parent doesn't have to SAY anything to cheer him up. Just by being there, with a smile and a hug, Mom or Dad can comfort the child and communicate clearly and unmistakeabley that everything is all right.

The words of the song are those of a father to a child who has had a nightmare. The child is unfamiliar with dreams, but the father tells him that the world of dreams CAN be a wonderfl, magical place, and doesn't have to be frightening at all.

It's about someone talking to his psychotherapist. He suffers with nightmares/lucid dreams because of a bereavement in early life. He asks for help to the therapist that says:' If you open your mind to me, you won't rely on closed eyes to see'. They speak about his fears and the patient feels that the therapist is like his father, smiling at him in silent lucidity.
Through the therapy the patient reaches 'dream control', and he becomes free to dream without suffering. A new world has just begun.

My husband of 23 years just sent this song to me. I never really paid attention to the words before.
We just reconciled 6 months ago after his infidelity with a close friend of mine. He actually left me for her , for 4 months. I was blind sided, had no idea, I literallybthought we had the best marriage. Needless to say I fell apart, bad. Fast-forward, we get back together and put all we got into our marriage. The problems is I am dealing with these unfamiliar symptoms that look like PTSD. and my poor husband is riddled with guilt. So much hurt, u wonder how anyone gets past it. Well him sending me this song tonight is healing my heart. Soneyhing so small can make suxh an impact. To all those couples out there, forever is long time so expect bumps in the road, just don't cut the wheel.

After going through a long, painful divorce this year, I started dating a dear friend of mine who Ive known for a decade. I received some scary medical results today and without hesitation I received this link to this song from him. I felt loved and protected immediately. Hes always been there for me. He tells me its gonna be okay and I felt some peace. I know hell be my rock and will watch over me. It felt like he was holding me even when he couldnt be there physically. God bless him.

What's funny is this was my daughter's birth son and I always thought I was going to be her guardian angel but she passed away when she was 24 and I had to quote" very hard no parent should ever have to bury their child and have them be their guardian angels

If you’ve ever dreamed, aware that you are indeed dreaming and cannot wake up; then one would get the full meaning of the song. God, our Father, is watching over you, and will guide you on this journey whilst you sleep. Perhaps, a doorway and glimpse into heaven is the promise if one would relax and see.

My interpretation is pretty deep but it has gotten me through a lot of years of pain and torment. My /mother committed suicide when i was only a 4 1/2 Year old little girl. Or at least that is how the story goes as to what i am told. Anyways, it has meant to me that even though my mommy left me she is still watching over me and that i can dream my way in to a new life or reality or I can dream my way to her any time i need her. Then at some point my dream may come alive and transform the miserable life that I have been handed by a father who hated the sight or me and i can have a better life for myself and mend the broken wing that I suffer from since losing her. So it sort of inter mingles with many of the ideas on here. It is my go to song to feel her. To open the door to know she is with me. I have even seen her standing at the end of my bed when i woke up one night, just as clear as day. She was such a beautiful woman and so full of life. I will never understand why she left.

To me this song means so much. It came out after our Son died and left behind a little boy. Our hearts broke and still are but the idea that he has watched over his Son is very evident here. He has always watched over him and showed us so many times that life after death is real. Our Grandson also loved this song and we are all blessed getting once again another message from the other side. I really think they influence artists to write songs or make movies to show us love never dies.

This is a sort of a lullaby. A parent or guardian is reassuring a child who just had a bad dream in which someone they love was dead. "Your mind tricked you to feel the pain / Of someone close to you leaving the game of life." While reassuring the child that their loved one is just fine, they are also explaining the difference between dreams and reality, and how dreams allow you to experience things without the bad consequences they might have in real life. A dream might be scary at the time, but they can't hurt you and you can learn from them.

The singer is also teaching the child about the concept of lucid dreaming. Lucid dreaming is when the dreamer realizes they are in a dream, and is able to take control of the dream. A lucid dreamer can fly, or swim underwater without needing air, or rule the world, or just be with loved ones they can't be with in the waking world.

By promising to always be there, watching over them, the singer is reassuring the child, allowing them to relax enough to develop dream skills that are harder to learn if you're afraid of your dreams. The child might actually visualize them watching within the dream, providing a reminder that it *is* a dream and the child can stop whatever is scaring them if they want to. The singer doesn't have to actually do anything, they just have to be there, providing comfort and safety.

Basically, this is a song to teach a child that dreams are nothing to be afraid of, that they can be a wonderful, fun, exciting thing!

    It's primarily about lucid dreaming.
"ride the whims of your mind,
    Commanding in another world"
"Master of illusion, can you realize
Your dream's alive, you can be the guide"

    And the spoken bit:
"Visualize your dream. Record it in the present tense. Put it into a permanent form. If you persist in your efforts, you can achieve dream control."

There is more, as the "watching over you" definitely has a parental flavor. But yeah - lucid dreaming.

I'm dealing with someone I thought was a SOUL MATE & LIFE LONG PARTNER. Someone i thought i knew for 17 years. Cheated for years, lied to one kid and turned them against me since the age of 3. I took that person back into my life( a lot will say I'm a fool for taking a Narcissistic cheater back). I forgave them, but then that nightmare took a even worse twist. They took away any chance to see the one kid they didn't twist with lies.. UNEXPLAINABLE.. HEART BROKEN.

So this song is like i did for my kids when they had a nightmare. No words just hold them. Pray I can again one day. It is like our Heavenly Father. Just silently trying to comfort you , from your nightmare. Hope I can wake up from this nightmare and feel comfort again.

It's about dreaming a negative dream.

It's only a dream and it's not real for you.

If this happens in the future, talk to your future spouse and fix your problems. Love your spouse and kids. Stay with them through thick and thin.

If you are single, there is nothing to worry about because it's not real. Don't be negative and think the worst scenario.
