    Are you having a laugh? Even Madonna admitted it was on about oral sex. "I'm down on my knees, I wanna take you there, In the midnight hour, I can feel your power, just like a prayer, you know I will take you there."

    If it was on about god, why would his voice take her there? who hears gods voice after all? unless you mean the priests etc?

    This song was also released when she was in one of her rebellious periods
