    This song makes me think of the struggles of being a young adult, experiencing freedom and adult relationships for the first time.
    The line 'there's holes in all the bottles and my lungs hurt' is a reference to smoking hashish by doing 'bottle tokes', and the hurting lungs also refers back to previous mentions in the song to breathing.
