She sings the flowers you planted momma are all gone away. Living with you was sometimes hard. Another try. I think the Mom passed away.

    Let me
Put this out Rhee for everyone who listens to this amazing shit!

This song is about freedom. Duh
She is released from whatever it was she was fucked up about and she is going out and finding herself. Clearly? Is this a joke?
How can anyone see this any other way?
    Whatever?
We need to give credit to a douche bag?!
    No

Ever since her boyfriend broke up with her and moved out, she feels a deep emptiness and void that fills her soul. No one or nothing else can make her feel whole and alive again. She tries to do whatever she can to rid herself of the pain but the pain doesn’t go away. I feel this way ever since my boyfriend died.

I know Prince wrote this about him quitting smoking, but I would interpret this as a woman who was in a relationship with a guy and for whatever reason he broke up with her. She was deeply in love with him and she doesn't know why he broke up with her and now she's devasted about it. She thinks she'll never find a guy like or better than him.

The hook lyrics in this case the title are still not giving us the answers because you can be completely evil and still say the same words meaning how nobody is as evil and bad as you comparatively speaking

It's about her mom. She wrote this song for her mom when she died. Due to her depression and sadness over mother's death she let her marriage fall to pieces.

I believe it to be about her love for someone special and that nothing compares to them.
