The Downtown Fiction: I Just Wanna Run Meaning
I Just Wanna Run Lyrics
Run because they're chasing me down
I just wanna run, throw it away
Run before they're finding me out
I just wanna run
I just wanna run
I'm out here all alone
I try to call your house
Can't reach you on...

#1 top rated interpretation:I think the song is about how sometimes they just want to run away from everything, because they can't take it anymore. In this case, it sounds as though a girlfriend/boyfriend is the main cause of wanting to run, but the song can be applied to just about any cause. I can really connect to this song. Even now, I just want to run from my problems.

I think that this song is to just give up on life and do what everyone tells you to do. like me. and it also has a way of saying to don't listen to anyone but your self, don't trust anyone but yourself, and don't love anyone but yourself.
also, love is fake and trust is fake.
thanks for reading this and have a good day

I think just like what a lot of people think he’s running away from something i think he is also like other people he is running away from a girlfriend or someone but in the music video he is seen with two other people running from fans
-
I interpreted it as an abuse survivor running from the abuser. Like how he sings "I got up the nerves I'm packing up my bags". Meaning that they got the the nerves to run away even when they know the risk.

I think this song is about a person that feels forgotten on away. He (Maybe she) have tried to come in contact with this other person, but with no success as he gets ignored. He tells after so long with trying without getting any signs in return, he really just want to give up and run away, saying it's not really his problem anyway. When the other person realize he have stopped his efforts to get the other one's attention, the person start chasing the guy to get him back. The first person tells he keep repeating himself that he don't wish to come back and that he just wants to hide(Or get away) from the other one. He says he knows the person that chasexist him, better than the person themselve do. Probably does that mean he knowsthe other person only seach for attention and really just will start ignoring him when he returns. And so on it goes.
I love this song really, cuz it have many ways to be interpret, but I anyway think the real meaning without toI deep stuff,is to get away from everything and take a breath on your own. -
My interpretation of the song is the this guy just robbed a store and he's running away from the cops.

I think it is about someone who needs to get away from life and is confused whether it is about a girlfriend/boyfriend or family member or just something in life and then want to get away from everything and everyone.
Just like me right now. -
i think it is about a man tired of being treated badly by his girlfirend and is afraid to break up with her.
