    This is an MTV produced song targeted at young girls who want to look pretty and telling them if you wear black eyeliner you will look pretty and if you wear chains you will look pretty its a terrible song.

    I used to think that this song is about a guy in his late-twenties who've a crush on a girl who still goes to school. Man, think I could relate to that :p. But the reality of ths song is that it's about the naivete of a young girl's very "positive" attitude about a self-made campaign of sorts on something and she doesn't see what the guy knows that its not bound to work out. The situations about are confined to what the writer had in mind apparently as it seemed. Taken from the album LOVE JUNK which is one among the most missed-out under-exposed yet great albums ever recorded.
