7 Nations Army Lyrics
A seven nation army couldn't hold me back
They're gonna rip it off
Taking their time right behind my back
And I'm talking to myself at night
Because I can't forget
Back and forth through my mind

drugs and paranoia.
message coming from my eyes says leave it alone.
i'm gonna work the straw.
i'm bleeding right before the lord.
i'm thinking it's a song about cocaine and his conscience telling him to stop before it's too late.

To me the song is about a man going against the world and then figuring out that life is hard and going home again.
This song possibly has direct references to J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Lord of The Rings" and is from Sauron's point of view. His feelings regarding his master's defeat at the Battle of the Seven Armies is dealt with in the song, and it is claimed that, anticipating a repeat of the same, he intends to leave for lands distant from the conflict, not willing to be involved in this eternal strife. However, the song ends with him feeling that he cannot distance himself from his destiny and so he must "go back home".
