   Consider a guy in a manipulative marriage getting a divorce. He tried to work it out despite seeing her being poisonous. She is trying to get everything she can from you and fuck you for everything you are worth (cut her tongue-cookin misery) but despite that she will be out of your life soon hence the counting the days. Been there in a loveless relationship (heart on a shelf-dirty floor) and knowing deep inside it was going to fail (saw the line of snakes...)
   
   Remembering good times you thought she loved you and all you dreamed of together (so innocent were the days - a bag full of hope...) finally you see the truth and are pissed off (feel like a loaded gun) tired of her manipulations (spitting bullets - dont believe a word she says...) and she found out you got wise and is lying and trying to fuck you in court (cut her tongue - cookin misery)

   Honestly, knowing people who have done it, this song sounds to me like it is about a woman who had a lot of potential and threw it away getting into meth. Some of the lines in the song are indicators to me;
   
   "Cannot think cannot talk cannot do it right.
   Can't call the doctor

   "Cut her tongue don't believe a work she says She's on a hunt
   cooking cooking cooking misery."

   May be interpreting this completely wrong, but that's what it sounds like to me.

   I see alot of people mentioning past relationships correlated with this song. But honestly, I think back to early years like teenage and early adult years were you're just living your life. Having relationships just for the feeling and experiences, you're still depressed thinking that you're time is gonna come soon beacuse of how you're living, and then later in life you're gonna find the one for you and think back to those early years, (the black rose.) And it will remind you of all the memories you had and you'll realize you can't go back to those times and all you'll be left with is the memories of your mistakes but also the good times you enjoyed just living young.

   I think both parties are contributing to the toxic relationship. The song is a reflection on youth/innocence, bad relationships of said youth, and learning from the mistakes you made. The bag full of hope ONLY for you and me is reference to how they hurt those close to them.
   Cut her tongue refers to his continued dislike for her, though the innocent days acknowledges that both of them were acting stupid.
   Basically they both made mistakes in a youthful crappy relationship and he hopes to learn from this while still remembering the good shit that happened. And he hopes she learns too (although it seems she isn't, whether out of innocence or not is unclear).

   I feel that "she"kept lieing to him -line of snakes- he keeps thinking back to the Happy days of their relationship and it was all innocent days and good memories. Now he's counting days till he stops loving her.

   I feel like it's about witchcraft and how the girl is casting spells on him because he broke her heart. The snakes that he mentions are signs of spells being castes as well as the bagful of hope (bag of crystals). Also the name of the song describes one of the forms of witchcraft (black rose witchcraft). In the Salem witch days they would also cut out witches tongues because they thought they were speaking the devils words which wasn't taken lightly in puritan times. I think that the cooking cooking cooking misery is the girl creating a spell for him. Idk those were just my thoughts
