Beatles: We Can Work It Out Meaning
Song Released: 1965
We Can Work It Out Lyrics
Do I have to keep talking till I can't go on?
While you see it your way,
Run the risk of knowing that our love may soon be gone.
We can work it out.
We can work it out.
Think of what you're saying,
You can get it...
-
This song sounds so conciliatory, so genial. What it’s really saying, though, is, “You’re wrong, and if you would just admit that, we would be much better off.”
-
With the deepest due respect, I think the Beetles had it wrong with "We Can Work It Out."
When alluding to the world's situation, or the human condition, we can't work it out. It will take more wisdom and power than "we" can muster. It seems optimistic that we could solve the more serious problems of our personal or corporate life, we need a divine Superstar to rescue us.
Hmm. -
it is specifically Paul trying to resolve an argument with then girlfriend Jane Asher
-
it's about two people trying to workout a relationship. a paul maccartney gem!
