   That are all good ideas, but not the one, ben had.
   in a german interview he said:
   
   "In 'Try Honesty' geht es um eine Freundin, mit der ich aufgewachsen bin. Viele Dinge in ihrem Leben sind ziemlich schiefgelaufen, aber sie machte immer andere Leute dafür verantwortlich. Mal waren die Eltern schuld, mal die Schule, mal ihr Freund, mal ich. Mit dem Song will ich ausdrücken, dass man die Verantwortung für sein Schicksal in die eigenen Hände nehmen und so weit wie möglich kontrollieren sollte. Wenn du ein ehrlicher, guter Mensch bist, hast du einige Probleme wenige"

   'Try honesty is a song about a friend I growed up with. Her life wasn't easy at all, but she always blamed somebody for it, except herself. Once it was their parents fault, then the schools, then her boyfriends and at least mine.

   There are two interpretations of this song.
   
   1.) It is about a relationship between two people and how one of them is always lying and it is affecting the other person.
   
   OR
   
   2.) This song could be about the abuse a child and his sibling (the lyrics suggest a sister) underwent abuse from their father and the song is about how is dad never approved of him.

   this song is about a priest who works in an orphanage. He is put in prison because he rapes all of the little boys in the orphanage, he is then murdered in prison because of what he did and no one got done for his murder in the end.

   Yea its their best song. I think the lyric is pretty random and bears no particular leitmotif or meaning.

    Initially I deemed the song to be, like lamb of god's 11th hour, completely about drinking, especially with the line "deconstruct through alcohol, pacify with the liquid placebo." but I believe this is merely one facet of the character depicted in the song.I believe it reflects a personality like randy's: randy vs. The world. A violent, troubled, self-destructive individual who attempts to live as hard and fast as he can but acknowledges that it is destroying him. "mechanically destroying the self, pushing." and of course the best line in the song, "you just met the last mother**cker who truly does not give a fuck: goatfish."
