"Cosmogony" is basically an anthology of several interpretations of how the universe came to exist. It begins with the Native American myth of the Silver Fox. The second verse is the ancient Chinese myth of God hatching from an egg and creating the world from the shattered shell. The third verse is the Aboriginal Australian myth of how the eternal spirits of the ancestors woke up to create the world. And on the last verse, is the scientific "Big Bang" theory. It's kind of a ballad on the album as opposed to it's predecessor "Crystalline".
