Well, it's not an instrumental, but it is a song with no lyrics. It does not make sense. The Dark Matter phenomenon makes no sense. She is literally singing gibberish non-lyrics on "Dark Matter" because there is no understanding of the phenomenon, so there is no understanding of the lyrics. It is definitely a standout in Bjork's career despite not being released as a single, because only somebody with Bjork's chutzpah could pull something off like "Dark Matter" and make it seem legitimate and artistic.
