Black Veil Brides: Youth and Whisky Meaning
Youth and Whisky Lyrics
Spent years in liquid harmony
This dream is who I wanna be (youth and whiskey)
I grew from those who hate me
Stand fast to a razor blade symphony
Cigarettes and lyrics made me (youth and whiskey)
Can you...
-
Vocalist Andy Six explained the song to Kerrang!: "This is about being on the road, having fun and just learning about life in general. It's showing that you've done what you wanted to do in life and you don't really care about what people say now that you've got this group of friends that will always have your back."
-
I'd say its about andy's youth , how he got through it, what hes been through. Its about the whiskey helping him cope with the pain.
Surely he would not tell his fans to resort to alcohol, would he?I mean come on drinking alcohol at such a young age could mess up your brain, and I know andy turned out great but its still a risk.Maybe he is just trying to say live it up,I dont know.
But yeah, thats just my opinion... -

I think Andy is talking about being young ad drowning your
sorrows in liquor and alcohol "cigarettes and lyrics made me, youth and whiskey" -
whale I think its when he got bullied cause I went on his Wikipedia page and I read that most of his songs have like confidence idk that's what I read "im strong for what they made me" hes probably talking about the people who bullied him and he has been drinking since a young age and whisky is a beer so that's just what I think
-

-
Haha well Andy just turned 21 and he has been drinking for a while so he is youth and he was drinking Whiskey
-
This song is about living life to the fullest, and when things look bleak turning it around for the better. It's about being optimistic whenever possible, and proving to people that you're strong, and can do whatever you set your mind too.
