The title says it all: It's about honesty.He goes on to describe how he thinks she is dishonest because she does not know how to be an honest person.He uses love as exsample: " how can you expect to love, if it was something you ve been never taught" he is referring to her innability to truly express love or have deep love for him, because she has never learned or seen( maybe through her upbringing) what live looks like.How people who love each other behave. In interviews he also stated that while he was on tour his wife cheated on him and that relationship went on for 10 months, before he found out. Assuming she still told him she loved him when they talked to each other.Again, a dishonest thing to do.Not feeling so much guilt that she will admit the affair, once more we have the honesty theme from the song
