Brand New: Am I Wrong? Meaning
Am I Wrong? Lyrics
well i talk
Too much
To myself
And i turn my back on my faith
It's like glass
When we Break
I wish no one in my place
and i've seen
you don't need their seeds
when the cut goes in deep
and i'm lost in...

When I first listened I thought it was about a relationship. But, if you watch the video, it is truly inspiring. I feel like he is asking if he is wrong for trying to be something more than his circumstances say he should be. He is asking if he is wrong for thinking he could be something so great if he chooses to take his own path and not the path that most people choose. And when he and his friend meet in the dessert, both trying to find that connection for the tv to work, it shows there are others out there looking to be something great and they find each other and the t.v.s work! Truly inspirational.

I think that this song is sort of about the singer's love life and how he is 'trying to reach things that he can't see' which could possibly mean that he's trying to do things out of his boundaries. He's also questioning who he loves through out the song. Also he could possibly be trying to cheer everyone up by saying that 'don't worry you're not alone' meaning that don't feel alone. So this song is technically about life and that you feel a lot in the world and it's circumstances. some of the singer's questions refer to a specific person. He also means when he says 'if you tell me I'm wrong I don't wanna be right' that I'm not changing my opinion or thinking or anything just because of you.
