This lyric is also a metaphor for being so caught up in someone of something or to be hopelessly in love. This man noticing Britney gets her all rushed, a feeling she quite enjoys. Being in love and showing it to someone she has deep feelings for makes her happy and excites her. Britney is so obsessed with this man that thinking about him all night causes her to stay awake or to even have insomnia(which means to not be able to sleep). It surely does drive Ms. Britney crazy.
