Bullet For My Valentine - Hearts Burst into Fire Meaning

Song Released: 2008
Hearts Burst into Fire Lyrics
I've been gone for far too long!
Do you remember me at all?
I'm leaving
Have I fucked things up again?
I'm dreaming
Too much time without you spent!
[Pre-chorus:]
It hurts!
Wounds so sore!
Now I'm torn
Now I'm...

My interpretation is that its about a father missing home and when he is home he only has little time with his family when he has to go back on tour for so many months.

I think maybe it's about the band members leaving their kids to go on tour etc, hence lines like 'do you remember me at all?' , as if the child hasn't spent too much time with their father and doesn't remember much about him from all the absences.

An amazing song in which a guy is really in love with a girl. He just cannot stop thinking about her. Sadly, it sounds very familiar to me... oh and this song has amazing guitar solos and a whole bunch of other amazing musical talent. My favorite song by them xD

this song was written by matt while on the road, when they tour the go months without going back "home" the lyrics"ive been gone for far to long" is a sign of missing home and of course that one girl that keeps you coming back. "when i see her face my heart burst into fire" shows THAT girl is probably the reason he wants to come home?
hope it helped.
