Songs about Teenagers

Well, we might as well have songs about teenagers, since so may of them will listen to them! In case you missed the news, young people makes up the majority of the market demographic for commercial studio music, and just about all music, for that matter. Record companies and radio stations will bend over backwards to snag the wandering attention of teenagers. So they might as well give them songs they'll identify with.

There should be more songs from the perspective of parents raising teenagers, but then who wants to hear songs about sweaty sneakers kicked onto the coffee table and hysterical panic attacks about a zit? Once you've raised a teenager or two, the romanticism of that stage of life tends to wear off really fast.
