Chevelle's first and second were mistakenly sold in Christian book stores and gained a relatively large Christian fan base yet would cuss on stage which threw off a lot of religious fans thinking they were seeing a Christian band live. I think Antisaint may be a reflection on what Pete felt when people would question him about the Christian label, essentially calling him or the band "antisaints". But I don't know.

Hmm...perhaps this song is about Richard Dawkins. Perhaps it's about people so bent on discrediting something that it consumes them and as such, their motives become questionable.

He is talking about an evil person who needs no reason to do bad. They are a poor little antisaint necause they will soon die.
