It's isn't hard to read. It's about being in love with someone, and in love with being with them. When you're with them you're having so much fun, and you feel like you're on top of the world. When you're with that person, there's no place you'd rather be.

Oh yeah, two people who are having a sexual, unrequired, evil, angelic, nerdy, popular, or whatever relationship they have, they feel having fun and stay with person that they would rather be hanging out with.

Oh I agree, could the song refer to Star vs. The Forces Of Evil?

It could also refer to the relationship between best friends from different cultures, tribes, nationality etc.
