#1 top rated interpretation:This is the story of a mother who got pregnant by a man and he left her... The lady sacrified everything for his baby child and become a pole dancer in a bar.

2TOP RATED
#2 top rated interpretation:This song talks about how when a man got her pregnant and left her she also would go to the ends of the earths for her baby but she sacrificed herself to feed her child by getting money by dancing in a bar.
I like this song! -
3TOP RATED
#3 top rated interpretation:The woman is metaphorically "killing herself" by giving up her own body for mens admiration, to feed her child. The rock-a-bye is a "good-bye" to the mothers pride=herself=hence in return for taking care of her child (feeding, clothing, sports, everything for that baby). This is the proper interpretation in Celenas opinion ;) She is saying "bye" to who she was and now has to be.
her morals pushed aside to do what is necessary with what the uneducated mommy has to do when a shit bag of a sperm donor leaves her and her lil one. And she is rocking that baby (literally) and rocking (metaphorically) with all she can give for the shit bag men, so as to not only survive with her child but rake in the dough.

It's about a girl who is loved by her family. Her lover got her pregnant but left her when she told him. As a typical society everyone suggested to abort the baby but she kept it even though her family didn't supported her. So she ran away from them and locked the girl she used to be in a dark corner and changed into a mother who sacrifice everything to give a better life to his son. Since she was very young she didn't had good qualifications for the job so she worked in a club as a living in trying to give a better life to his son.

This is a story about a mother, whose husband left her because of the baby and she is the only one who pampers her baby takes care of her child, and became a pole dancer in a bar for her child's future.
-
I think it is about a mother and her son, the father just recently left her and now she is sayng to her son that no matter she will be by him no matter what.
-
I like how they relate to true stories. I am not going to judge the mum but who ever left her (unless he died) is a fucktard. Who leaves a pregnant women. He would be what i call scum
-
The girl recklessly gets herself pregnant. We are not told if the father is aware. She knows she can use the child as a hostage so that she will get everything provided for her by hard working tax payers. She then uses emotional blackmail to try to justify performing degrading acts for small amounts of cash rather than getting a proper job and risk losing her benefits.

This song's video clearly defines the struggles of a single uneducated mother trying to provide for her child by working as an erotic dancer. Although without the video this song is relevant to all single moms. The lyrics touch my heart.

Well, it’s the only way to protect his child and herself The song reminds me of the movie Coco. Try to see the movie, it’s obvious too, in a different way.

Too young, clearly uneducated, and alone. Instead of killing her child she uses her heart, has a soul and keeps her baby. Abortion is popular in culture today. People make impulsive choices within their sex life and don't take responsibility for their actions. This song supports pro-life and so do I. Being a pole dancer.. Dunno about that part. With hard work and long hours I've become employed as a furniture antique and glaze applicator. I manage the entire line. You can do it without showing your bodies to strangers girls, but no matter what just survive. No judgment from me. Survive. -young single mother

simple the single mother does not want her baby to have the same life add hers. She wants the best for her child i just love sean pauls part

This song is easy to understand.
The man who got her pregnant vanished and I believe it was a one-night stand or a casual relationship. He didn't love her and it was only lust. They should have used a protection or it was better that they didn't do it. The woman should have waited for the right man and didn't let herself be tricked by the man. I know many women experienced this situation and this song is a wake-up call that anything that gives pleasure for a moment will not last. Both men and women should be careful because getting a woman pregnant or getting pregnant is not something to be taken lightly.
I really don't like this kind of song.

The song suggests that the one in it is rasing the son of someone who had a child with her, and she wants to keep her child safe, warm, and loved. I think that the woman in the song would go to the ends of the Earth to save her baby.

The video and lyrics described it all.
The mother sacrificed to dance to feed her child?
It's honorable she wants to feed her child.
But! by dancing as a dancer inside a club wearing almost nothing and being watched by different men! This type of club promotes debauchery and the primary reason why divorce or annulment or separation are so common in this generation.
Better to have a wholesome job than to be the cause of division among couples or families all over the world.
