Craig David: Walking Away Meaning
Walking Away Lyrics
Im walking away oh to find a better day
Im walking away from the troubles in my life
Im walking away oh to find a better day
Im walking away
Sometimes some people get me wrong
When its...

Walking away from his problems in his life.

It can be interpreted in two ways,
in my opinion its about a guy who is trying to make a relationship work with a girl. It seems as though he is accusing him of many things, however, she is the actual culprit who had told him "lies" and caused him "sleepless nights"
I think its about being with someone, or trying to make a relationship work again, but this time around he is fed up because he was always in the "Drivers seat" and he had to put in the work, and so he just moving away from all the trouble and responsibility of having to be the one who fixes everything or steers their relationship, because they are stuck. -
Song Interpretation: Craig is sick of all his problems, like his disagreements with his girlfriends and the misinterpretations that their relationship possessed. This is basically a break-up song.
Music Video: The U.K. version shows him getting out of the drivers seat of his car with his girlfriend sitting in the passenger seat in the middle of a traffic jam. He does that because he is fed up with his girlfriend. The scene then gradually changes to a forest and then a supermarket. The U.S. version gives us a brief new song by Craig. Then it shows all the bad things happening around him, and how he barely escapes these without even knowing this.
