    The song is about guys from two different towns meet up to fight every Saturday night. Thats all I know. The first one is helpful.

    this song is all about two different towns who used to fight every saturday night.market rasen and caistor. lincolnshire. hence the title.bernie wrote this song as he lived juet outside market rasen.things are different with both towns now if you ever visit rasen go to the aston arms in the market place there is a cutting on the wall telling you about it all.
