Eminem is saying that parents and the FCC doesn't understand his music and what he raps about, so instead they listen to old music (Elvis). He says how without his music kids will feel like helpless prisoners. He also says that no matter where you are, if the name "Eminem" is mentioned, people will have something bad to say about him. He implies that if you are a parent and you are attempting to not allow your kid to listen to him that they will find a way to listen to him because he's so good. In the last verse, he wonders if the FCC and parents don't like him because he is white and is doing a mostly black profession, and they think he is doing it just to get money. He also says that no matter how many other rappers there are, he is the best and rap would not be the same if he were to stop rapping.

This song is clearly about how eminem has changed the rap game and how the rap game relies on him. " it will feel so empty without me". He expresses he hatred for how the FCC and parents want to change or eliminate eminem, even though, as he says in the song, how music, specifically the rap game, relies on him
