At The Library Lyrics
Tell me what do you see
But you quickly turn your head away
Try to find the words I could use
Don't have the courage to come up to you
My chance is looking a bit grey
Starting across the room
Are you leaving...

This song is the first song Billie Joe wrote and it was the first song Green Day recorded. Billie wrote from a girl he saw a long time ago and he thought she was ugly. And then another time after Billie Joe saqw her at the library.
He thought that she would go out with him so he asked her out but she said "No." because she had boyfriend.
