    He sees a girl and can't keep his mind puff of her. I am asuming he sees her at the library. He sees her walk away with her boy friend and hopes eventually hay will meet again.

    Billie Joe wrote this song about a girl he thought was ugly, but he thought she would go out with him. He saw her at the library and asked her out but got rejected because she already had a boyfriend.

    This song is the first song Billie Joe wrote and it was the first song Green Day recorded. Billie wrote from a girl he saw a long time ago and he thought she was ugly.And then another time after Billie Joe saqw her at the library.
    He thought that she would go out with him so he asked her out but she said "No." because she had boyfriend.
